Dr Nicole Dermatology - Manchester

Dr Nicole Chiang came to us at the start of her private journey. A Consultant Dermatologist building her own practice, and this was the first website to carry her name, built with us.

A first site for a clinician serious about clinical dermatology. The brief was clinical first. Dr Nicole had completed UK Specialist Training in dermatology with fellowship training in Australia, and the website needed to lead with that. Medical and surgical dermatology at the front, with the cosmetic and aesthetic side present but not in charge of the narrative. Patients arriving with a skin condition needed to feel they'd found a specialist, not a clinic. The credentials had to do the work, and the design had to let them.

A clinical foundation, with room for the practice to grow.

The practice operates across Manchester and Cheshire, with Dr Nicole as the named clinician throughout. The website needed to hold three distinct sides of the work in clear order. Medical dermatology for acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, hyperhidrosis, pigmentary disorders, rashes and hair loss. Surgical dermatology for skin checks, mole removal, skin tag and wart removal. And cosmetic dermatology for the broader aesthetic range. Each side has its own audience, its own search behaviour, and its own route through the site.

The design is calm and clinical. Considered typography, generous spacing, and imagery focused on Dr Nicole and the consultation rather than treatment-room stock. Awards and credentials are surfaced without dominating, including Best Dermatologist in the North West at the Global Health & Pharma Awards and the Aesthetic Medicine Awards. The tone reads as expert and approachable. The kind of site a patient with a long-standing skin condition would trust to take their concern seriously.

The treatment range is structured into the three sides of the practice. Medical dermatology covers acne and rosacea, eczema and psoriasis, hyperhidrosis, pigmentary disorders, rashes and hair loss including Tricopat hair loss therapy. Surgical dermatology covers full skin checks with dermatoscopy, mole removal and skin lesion surgery, with Dr Nicole acting as an advisor for Melanoma UK. Cosmetic dermatology covers anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, lip filler, cheek enhancement, eye rejuvenation, jawline and neck lift, scars and stretch marks, microneedling, PRP, RF and microneedling, CO2 laser resurfacing, polynucleotides and HArmonyCA. Specialist treatment programmes for full face rejuvenation, acne and spots, pigmentation and skin tone, and hair loss restoration give patients a clear programme to follow. A first site for a Consultant Dermatologist, built with us around the clinical work first, and a digital home set up to grow with the practice as it has.
