Edinburgh's aesthetic market had a problem that nobody in it seemed to be addressing. Look across the city, and you find established names with strong reputations and long waiting lists, a Georgian building with faded red carpet, a dominant presence in Morningside aimed squarely at an older demographic, and almost nothing modern, accessible, or designed with a younger professional in mind. Sarah had done the research herself: across a 50-mile radius, she could count the well-designed, easy-to-use aesthetic websites on one hand, with fingers left over.
That gap was the brief.

Sarah Perkins RGN is a Level 7 postgraduate qualified aesthetic practitioner, trained by the Harley Academy in London and mentored by leading aesthetic doctors. She holds NMC registration, Save Face accreditation, and membership of BACN, ACE, Health Improvement Scotland, Hamilton Fraser, and the JCCP. The clinical foundation is serious. The ambition, a clinic that felt nothing like the established players, was equally serious.
Newfound Skin launched into the Blackford area of Edinburgh with a proposition built around three things that the existing market wasn't delivering: warmth, accessibility, and a design standard that matched the city's growing appetite for premium aesthetics without the clinical remove of a doctor-led practice. Not nurse-led as a label. Medical professionals, expertly trained, approachable by design. Open Wednesday to Saturday until 9 pm, later than anyone else in Edinburgh, because professional women in their late twenties to forties don't always have time during a standard working day, and nobody else has thought to solve that.

The website brief was among the most visually considered we've received. References included Rebecca Taylor Aesthetics for clarity and pricing transparency, Sloane Clinic for its sense of richness, Omniya for colour discipline, Juvea and Harley Street Injectables for the feel of luxury without coldness. Hard no to pink, rose gold, marble, and floral fonts. The palette — navy, white, gold, light beige — reflects exactly that: sophisticated, clean, and distinctively Edinburgh without defaulting to the predictable.
The site leads with the full-face imagery and bold typography visible in the portfolio: confident, contemporary, and immediately differentiated from everything else in the city. The mobile view is equally considered, a dedicated section for men's anti-ageing treatments appearing on the phone display signals from the first scroll that this clinic is not for one demographic only. Edinburgh's professional communities include a significant male clientele who want quality treatment and are increasingly willing to seek it.

Navigation runs by treatment and by concern, with a consultation journey built around listening first and recommending second. No treatment on the day if that's not right. Honest, informed, unhurried.
The clinic that Edinburgh's aesthetic market didn't yet have.
